warranty Servicing
Whenever you purchase a new vehicle, the manufacturer provides you with a warranty that covers the cost of any parts failures. This warranty is only valid if you have your vehicle regularly serviced by a certified mechanic, who services the vehicle according to the manufacturer’s specifications, and then records and stamps these services in the logbook.
Here at Marshall Automotive & Tyres, our expert team are certified to provide manufacturer logbook servicing for all:

Inspections
If you’re planning on buying a secondhand car, we would recommend organising a pre-purchase inspection. This is a thorough inspection that ensures you know exactly what you’re buying, and helps you avoid any nasty surprises.
We strongly urge anyone planning a long road trip to first get a pre-trip inspections. This way you can discover any potential issues with your vehicle long before they would cause a problem, and lets you enjoy your trip with peace of mind.

Brakes
Your brakes are the most important safety feature your vehicle has. While other safety systems, like airbags, can only reduce the severity of an accident, your brakes can act preventatively, and the condition of your brakes can often mean the difference between an accident and an emergency stop.
Here at Marshall Automotive & Tyres, our expert brake technicians can help you with:
- Component Replacement (pads, rotors, drums etc.)
- Machining
- Hoses
- Restorations
Steering and Suspension
Faults and flaws in your steering and suspension affect handling and ride comfort, causing issues such as play in the steering wheel, vibrations at speed, and body lean through corners. Your suspension is also responsible for maximising the grip that your tyres exert on the road surface, so a poor suspension will increase your stopping distance.
Here at Marshall Automotive & Tyres, our skilled team can help you with:
- Wheel Alignments
- Shocks/Springs
- Wheel Balancing
- Bushing Replacement
- Power Steering Repairs/Replacement
- Lift Kits and 4wd Upgrades
Clutches & Transmissions
As part of the assembly that transfers power from the engine to the wheels, the transmission is comprised of some of the most intricate and precise machinery in your vehicle. Due to its sophisticated nature, even minor flaws can quickly escalate if left untreated.
If you notice your transmission wont engage or stay in gear, your engine is revving higher than normal, buzzing, clunking, or humming noises, or a burning smell after driving, you may have an issue with your transmission.
Here at Marshall Automotive & Tyres, our skilled technicans can help you with:
- Servicing
- Repairs & Replacement
- Manual Transmissions
- Automatic Transmissions
- Differentials
- CV Joints
Engine Repairs
Your engine is an extremely hardworking component of your vehicle, taking fuel and turning it into motion via thousands of explosions every minute. That’s why even with regular service and maintenance, engine repair is sometimes required.
If you have noticed excessive blue smoke coming from your exhaust, increased oil consumption, or reduced engine power output, you may have an issue with your engine.
Here at Marshall Automotive & Tyres, our expert team can help you with:
- Reconditioning
- Testing
- Engine Blocks
- Cylinder heads
- Camshaft
- EFI diagnostics
Cooling System
If your cooling system is malfunctioning, it can cause a range of different issues from reduced power output and fuel efficiency to decreased engine lifespan, as overheating damages cylinder heads and head gaskets.
If these problems are left untreated for long enough, they can render your vehicle immobile, with the cost of repairs being comparable to buying a secondhand car!
Here at Marshall Automotive & Tyres, we can help you with:
- Radiator/Heater Repairs and Replacement
- Head Gaskets
- Coolant Flush
- Thermostats
Auto Electrical
As modern vehicles have increased in complexity, more and more functionality is being governed by the onboard auto electrical network. This network handles everything from playing music and measuring fuel consumption, to assisting with braking and gear changes, even monitoring your engine and informing you if a serious flaw is detected.
Here at Marshall Automotive & Tyres, our skilled auto electricians can help you with:
- Diagnostic scans
- Component Replace/Test (battery, alternator, etc.)
- Lighting Upgrades
- Accessories
Tyres
While they might seem simple at first, your tyres are a marvel of modern engineering. For example, in wet weather, the treads of your tyres act as channels that divert water away from where the tyre’s meet the road surface, to prevent aquaplaning. The treads are also designed to continue to provide traction even as they wear, as long as the wheels are aligned correctly.
Here at Marshall Automotive & Tyres, we can help you with tyres from major brands for all makes and models of:
- Car
- Truck
- 4×4
Wheel alignments
As we’ve already mentioned, making sure your wheels are aligned greatly increases your tyre’s lifespan, but that’s not the only advantage. Having your wheels properly aligned will:
- Reduce repair needs
Driving with poor alignment will increase the wear on your suspension and steering systems – whenever you hit a pothole or bump, these systems take a hit. With poor alignment, the impact is unevenly distributed, placing additional stress on specific components, causing them to break much sooner than they should. - Increase your tyres’ lifespans
Your tyres are designed to provide traction even as they wear down. If this wear is uneven, these designs do not work as well and your tyres will become unusable much faster. Properly aligned wheels will significantly increase the time between tyre changes - Increase fuel efficiency
If your wheels are misaligned, your engine has to work harder to move your vehicle, consuming more fuel. - Improve your driving experience
Have you noticed that your vehicle drifts slightly to the left or right even when driving straight ahead? This is due to poorly aligned wheels, and constantly adjusting the steering wheel is distracting, tiring, and potentially dangerous!
Here at Marshall Automotive & Tyres, our friendly staff can align your vehicle’s wheels and ensure you avoid all of the drawbacks of poorly aligned wheels.
Contact Uspuncture repairs
Punctured tyres can be extremely frustrating, seeing a nail, stone, or some other tiny object poking out of your tyre and realising you’re about to have to buy a whole brand new tyre thanks to one tiny object.
Before you part with your hard-earned money, consider getting in touch with us and seeing if we can repair the puncture. If the puncture is in the right spot (generally the middle 75% of the tyre) and small enough ( less than about 6mm) we can repair the puncture with a plug that will last the remainder of the tyre’s lifespan, saving you some money!
